It's raining here today, the weather is nice though, sunny and wet with a temp of 57. I thought I would share with you some things about my family members. Let's start with me, earlier last year from Jan. to July I was working at a Water-N-Ice store as a manager, things were good and I felt fine, except for the hot flashes that all women get. On July 14 I woke up and got ready for work when just before I went down the stairs I felt like I was going to pass out. I ran to my bed where I did and my family members witnessed me having a grand mall seizure, they were horrified and I felt so bad later for scaring them like that. So to make a LONG LONG story short I had several other grand mall seizures and they found a mass on my brain, went in and did brain surgery to see what it was, they are sure it is not cancer but have since diagnosed me three times, this last time with Limbic Encephalitis???? I'm not sure either what that is, I do know that it is a part of the brain that is swelling and it is usually caused by cancer somewhere in the body, well to this date they had not found anything and just continue to run test after test all awhile the side effects and other issues surface....UGGG that is enough about me for now, I'll be having a few more test this month, a MRI on my brain and also some kind of test for nerve damage in my feet from the injury.

Amber is doing well now, a few weeks ago she woke up with a terrible stomach ache and needed to go to the hospital. There they found a gall stone lodged and decided to do surgery to take it and the gall bladder out. They ended up having to cut her open because the stone was the size of a walnut and could not be removed from the holes of the probes they did the surgery with, so need lest to say she is her mother's daughter! Amber has been a CNA for about two years now and really likes it, she loves her patient and they love her to death, she is so good with them and such a sweetheart. She plans on getting her RN in the future. As far as relationships go, she is single and dating and having a ball.....good for her, it's about time! Amber moved out of the house for about a year but moved back in with us in December 07 , not only to help us out, but to pay off some dept so that she can go to college for RN.

J.C. is doing great, a few asthma attacks here and there but for the most part he can handle them on his own. He had a really bad one on Christmas eve and we had to take him to the hospital for treatment, we were there for six hours before he was breathing well enough to be let go. I know you must be thinking " good Lord if I hear another hospital story" LOL sorry, it's just our life. We have lots of happy moments too! I'm thankful that we were all together on Christmas, so many of us had dangerous Illnesses and we were so blessed to be home together as a family. J.C. works at Water-N-Ice too, he kinda took over my hours and my job since my illness, he is doing great and we are very proud of him. He wants to go to college this year but still undecided what he wants to do. J.C. is such a gentle sweet spirited guy, always caring for others and catering to their needs, especially his brother Justin who he hopes will make it to the NFL someday and by him a car and home....lol

Justin is our BEAST, standing at 6'6 and weights 295. He will be going off to college to play college football this summer sometime, and we are not sure where yet. He has been offered in several different colleges and the sign date is sometime in Feb. , so I'll be sure to let you all know where he is going. He has been blessed with much strength and stanima, too bad he could not use that to clean his room! He has a wonderful sense of humor and always joking about everything, he even likes to make me mad when he does it......children???

And Finally James, He is doing Great as well, I was so lucky to have him here with me though this rough time in my life. I couldn't drive (still can't) and I had to have someone with me all the time for the first three months. He lost his job of 23 years in Nov. of 06 and was able to be at home with me, even though that might not seem like a blessing it surely was to me. We were blessed with a wonderful gift from Heavenly Father a month before he lost his job, we signed up for this insurance that would pay your house payment if you lost your job of too sick to work, the next month he lost his job and the insurance kicked in two months later, Thankful for James' saving habits he had enough to pay those two months and then they started paying in March, he has until March of this year to find a job so he is starting to look around now. Anyhow to go along with that blessing we not only put the loan of the house in it but also the vehicals and any other dept...............so you know what that means, not payments but the regulars you have to pay, gas, electric, ect....

Well, that is it for now, more to come this week.................Keep Smiling

Love,
Christine
